Soft Washing is completely different from power washing. Instead of using high pressure, cleaning solutions are added to the water and sprayed at less intense pressures. These solutions are then rinsed off with a follow-up low pressure spray. This allows for efficient and powerful cleaning without the destructive force of power washing. The only area of the house that doesn’t require rinsing would be the roof. It is perfectly safe for the solution to sit on the roof shingles until the next rain comes and washes it off. The reduced pressure allows for use on more delicate surfaces, and cleaning won’t strip protective coatings or damage structures.
With soft washing, results are longer lasting because the detergent and solutions used gradually eat away algae, mildew and even bacteria, making your house or structure both healthy and clean. There is no need to worry about chipping paint, or harming the integrity of your roof when soft washing. It’s important to note, however that some of the chemicals used can be harmful to plants, so its best left to the experts.
